Judge’s comments: ‘I would like to thank all who braved the storms and floods to attend the show, and also everyone who entered but could not attend, or missed their classes. Thank you also to the Committee, to Mary, and to my stewards for all their hard work. I had some problems finding type and good movement together in some classes, my placings reflect this.’

Long clean neck into a good front assembly with good bone, correct depth of chest and spring of rib, slight arch over the loin, correct length of back, nice rear angulation. Moved with a powerful action, very clean, in the challenge just looked a bit immature, but feel sure he will be a champion, RBD.’

‘A well put together young bitch, handy size and nicely compact. Lacked maturity today to go further. Very pleasing head of good proportions with a gentle eye, long neck flowing correctly into the shoulders. Moved true and in profile showed drive and extension, well put down.’
2nd: Rees’ Coedybrain Carys at Typica
‘Another nice bitch but slightly longer cast, which showed in her topline, similar comments regarding head and expression, nice mover, well presented and shown.’

‘A nice bitch who is maturing nicely. Would not like her to grow anymore. Very pleasing head and expression, good neck into nice front assembly, ample bone and good feet. Decent depth of chest and nice spring of rib, nicely muscled moderate rear angulation. True coming and going and extended well at the front and driving from the rear, did well to gain RBB, one to watch.’
2nd: Tains’ Taimere’s Triona
‘Again a very nice young bitch, she could not match the bloom of one today. She is a nice size and well proportioned throughout. Good head, nice dark eye, compact and steady on the move. Nicely turned out. A bit more maturity is all she needs.’

Very sound moving, covering her ground with a smooth steady action. Lacked the finish to go any further, needs time, well presented.’

‘Presented a lovely picture, strong and merry, yet powerful on the move. Loved her head with a melting expression with correct eye and ear. Good neck into a well constructed front, ample bone, could be better in pasterns. Decent forechest and spring of rib, strong well developed hind quarters. She is well up to size but has the balance and general type to win through. In profile she excels, good reach and powerful drive. Put down in lovely condition and well shown, one to keep your eye on. BB & RBIS.’
2nd: Leary’s Haslemount Harmony
‘Pleasing bitch just not putting her all in today. Decent head and eye, and general good proportions. Lost out on the move. Well shown.’
